It's been awhile since I added to my blogspot, so I thought I would catch everyone up. I have been very busy through the Christmas season and it is now February and I'm not slowing down. Last month I opened a booth in St. Mary's Antique Mall near Ste. Genevieve, MO and it is doing really well. I call it a store within a store. I offer a lot of hand-made items made by myself plus some from other talented craftsmen in the U.S. I have hand-made furniture, primitives, colonial and a few antiques.

Here are a couple of new Colonial items I have added this year for Christmas. The first is a paper Christmas stocking made from a copy of the Declaration of Independence. I stuffed it with greens and berries and it would look great in your Colonial or primitive Christmas decor. They are $5.00 ea. (greenery not included). The second item is a flag pillow that I made. An image of George Washington along with his signature are hand-sewn onto this pillow. It is also available with Abraham Lincoln or Thomas Jefferson. They are $15.00 ea.
These are some of my new pantry jars I've been working on. They are hand-painted using durable glass paints and distressed. They're great for storage or just for looks. The large lard jar is $15.75, the Hog Jowls jar is $10.75, the whiskey jug is $10.75, the molasses jar is $12.50 and the canisters are $10.00 ea. The canisters shown are sugar, flour and tea and I also have a coffee canister available to match the others.

This is a great parcheesi board in a Pennsylvania Dutch pinwheel design. The colors are very warm and aged in Barn red, Mossy green, Mustard yellow, Union blue, ivory and black. It comes complete with wooden playing pieces and dice. It is approximately 18"X18" and is available on new pine aged for $55.00 plus S&H or $80.00 plus S&H on antique wood. Please call first for availability of antique boards.
Here is a neat game called Fox and Geese. This game was brought to American during the Revolutionary War by Hessian soldiers. It comes complete with glass marbles and instructions. You can also play solitaire by yourself on this board. The object is to leave one marble in the middle. Good Luck! So you get two games for the price of one! This is a very challenging but fun game to play. I can paint this on new pine and give it a wonderful aged look for $35.00 plus S&H or I can paint it on antique wood for $55.00 plus S&H.
